Every day, I have the privilege of caring for people and their oral health. My satisfaction comes from the understanding that my work would improve a patient’s dental health and overall well-being. My patients’ treatment experience is of paramount importance to me. I believe in performing reliable and up-to-date treatments. The modalities that I offer to my patients are based on long-term published research evidence and my experience.

My education started at the University of Toronto, where I was awarded an Honours Bachelor of Science (Immunology) and Master of Science (Medical Biophysics). This was followed by a Dental Education at McGill University. I have received numerous awards and scholarships throughout my education, culminating with the honour of being awarded the distinction of summa cum laude upon graduation from Periodontology in 2007 at the University of Minnesota. I am a Board-Certified Periodontist in Canada and in the United States.

As a professional, I am dedicated to working continually to advance my skills. I attend seminars and lectures every year while participating in national and international conferences. I have taught undergraduate dental and hygiene students at the University of Toronto, University of Minnesota, and Algonquin College. I am the group leader of the “Smiles by Specialists” Spear Dental Study Club here in Ottawa.
